The winner of the PC was Pete Redgrift from NELC Council. Thanks to everyone who took part and had a go on the raffle.

On our meeting three presentations were made

1) Gift vouchers for Lisa and Andy Welsh for all their hard work and commitment in raising over £700 in name cards

2) Wedding gift to Steve & Jean Templeman on their recent marriage. It was noted and announced to our branch president that Steve did not go to the game on his wedding day. Gary Edwards who has not missed a game for 41 years Home or Away has noted it in his black book

3) A cheque was presented on behalf of Grimsby Whites members and donators from around the UK for £1,000 to Lennon Woods family. A massive thank you to everyone who donated

A great evening was had by everyone and a great success. Gary’s stories was entertaining and a great laugh.

Do not forget the meeting this coming Thursday. This will be Grimsby Whites last meeting for 2008 and will commence again in January 2009.

Gary Edwards publishing company have today sent 3 copies of each novel for Lennon Woods Appeal. Gary will be signing the books on the 6th of November at our meting. A raffle will be taking place at about 9.00 pm for the PC and books. Cost of the raffle is only £1 for 5 tickets

Grimsby Whites are pleased to announce our launch of our new website.

We have added a few new pages and will be adding other pages week by week. Our website has now gone over 55,000 hits and averaging 1,000 a week. Our data shows that we have viewers from all around the UK and Europe and the USA.

Grimsby Whites Meeting Dates

Our meetings are held every two months and the venue is Cleethorpes Cricket Club.

December - No meeting booked for December due to Christmas

January - Tuesday January 6th - 8.00 pm - Cleethorpes Cricket Club. Please note we have changed our day from Thursday to Tuesday at members request.

February - No meeting

March - Leeds on the road event - Full details to be announced nearer the date. We are hoping to hold a race night on the same night as our Leeds on the Road event.

April - Trip to Leeds Academy ( If members would like to go to this event? please contact any of the committee) Leeds charge £10 per person plus there will be a charge for travel.

May - Promotion party - Further details will be published nearer the date
